Humberhead Solar is a new utility-scale solar and battery energy storage project proposed in East Riding of Yorkshire. The project would generate approximately 500 megawatts of renewable energy and include battery storage to supply power beyond daylight hours. At this scale, it could power around 115,000 homes, supporting a more resilient and secure national energy system.

The project would also deliver ecological benefits through habitat creation and enhancement, alongside managing land beneath and around the panels as grazing grassland.
