Project information

The Clermont Solar Farm, located in Queensland's high-solar-irradiation Clermont Region, employs single-axis tracking solar modules to achieve one of the highest per-unit energy yields in Australia.

Development Approval was granted in May 2017, converting 300 hectares of former grazing land into an electricity generation site. The project began supplying clean power to Queensland in 2018.

Status

This solar farm was constructed and commenced operations in 2018.
