Located in San Roque, on the southern area of Spain close to Cadiz Bay, Arraez Solar Farm generates 40 MW of renewable, carbon-free electricity.

This is a critical decarbonisation area, being close to one of the major fossil fuels electricity generators plot, Algeciras.

The solar panel layout has been designed to respect the existing vegetation, keeping a large protected central area which intends to maintain and enhance the existing flora and fauna.

‍

In addition, there were minimal earthworks, in order to minimise any impact to the land.

Arraez Solar Farm is a fully consented project and is expected be connected to the electrical distribution grid by end 2024.
